If this option is enabled in OA Helper, we’ll show you a Try Open Access Button option, whenever we cannot identify another Open Access Source. The option will only be shown, if the article was published within the last five years and sadly there are no guarantees.
core.ac.uk Recommender
core.ac.uk’s official tag line is The world’s largest collection of open access research papers and that is exactly what they deliver. Their APIs help our app do a lot of things, including finding Open Access alternatives.
The core.ac.uk Recommender will take in the metadata of the article and find you similar articles based on the information that is available, most likely the title and abstract (if we were able to extract it).
It’s complicated stuff, so it can take a little while to load.
