Security fix. Fixed a small vulnerability that could have allowed a specially crafted website to change a user’s institutional affiliation if the user was tricked into visiting it. In my assessment, no actual damage was possible in practice and the exploit was theoretical and not exploited by anyone. It’s now fixed! Many thanks to Yujie Xing (邢语杰), Shandong University, and the XingTu Team of Legendsec at QI-ANXIN Group for the responsible disclosure.
Reliability fix. Fixed a bug affecting Chrome users where the extension could misbehave after being dormant for a long time (e.g., after the computer woke from sleep).

Facet support for OpenAlex searches. You can now filter large search results using facets — narrow results down by subject, author affiliation (institution), and type (article, dissertation, etc.), making it much easier to zero in on what you’re looking for.
