I’m pleased to announce the release of Open Access Helper 2026.6.1.
What’s changed
This release removes the core.ac.uk Discover integration. The feature saw very little use over time, and rather than carry it forward indefinitely, I’ve decided to retire it cleanly with this update.
I’d also like to highlight a small but important bug fix made possible by a detailed report from a librarian at one of our partner institutions. A big thank you for taking the time to report it so thoroughly — that kind of attentive feedback makes Open Access Helper better for everyone. Your support of the project means a great deal to me.
I’d also like to take a moment to thank the core.ac.uk team for their years of support and collaboration. Their work in making research openly accessible continues to be valuable to the community.
